‘Carpe diem’, a phrase usually translated as ‘seize the day’ and one which is very apt to us here at ClearO2. We believe in making the most of every day and we want to help you to do the same!

It’s no secret that eating a well-balanced diet, participating in regular exercise and getting enough sleep are the best ways to maintain your natural energy levels, but do you ever feel like you need a bit of an extra boost? We sure do!

There are plenty of ways to get that much needed natural energy lift. Exercising, even if for just a short period, really gets those feel good endorphins flowing and is fantastic for both physical and mental wellbeing. Drinking water and keeping hydrated is essential as well (we know this is said a lot – but it’s true!).

We all live such busy lives these days that it can be tempting to grab an unhealthy snack or swerve into the nearest drive-thru for a hunger fix, but realistically they don’t give you the energy lift your body needs. Allocating a little extra time the night before to prepare some nutritious food can make a huge difference to your mid-afternoon slump the next day!

Supplemental oxygen is also a great way to give your body the regular supply of high-quality oxygen that it needs to function at peak levels. It is a natural solution to help to balance out the effects of pollution and the daily grind, and as it is so quick and simple, it fits perfectly into a hectic lifestyle. Do you ever sit at your desk and feel your concentration levels dropping? Oxygen can reinvigorate the mind and get you back on track with a renewed enthusiasm.

We should never underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep. Many people don’t get the sleep they need to stay alert through the day. Try and find a routine that works for you and take time to relax before going to sleep at night. When it comes to napping…short naps work for some people as a quick energy boost, whilst others wake up feeling more tired than before.

Decluttering the mind is a great way to feel ready to make the most of the day ahead. Write a to-do-list or spend a few minutes in the morning writing down a few goals for the day, however small they may seem. Each time you tick one off you’ll get a positive boost!

To really make the most of each and every day, aim for a combination of all of the above. Grab a healthy, hearty breakfast and a glass of water whilst you write your aims for the day, as you reach mid-morning breathe in some oxygen-enriched air (you can do this throughout the day), participate in an exercise class in the evening and unwind with a book or your favourite TV show before sleeping. Sounds good to us!
